WHAT IS LASER TREATMENT?
Laser treatment is the application of red and near-infra red light over the injured area (muscles, ligaments, bone, tendon, nerves) for a photochemical effect. This process is similar to photosynthesis whereby living plants absorb light from the sun and convert it into energy to produce a healthy plant.
HOW THOR LASER WORKS
When we have an injury, the cells within the tissue:
- cause local inflammation and swelling
- produce harmful substances that affect cellular energy production
- cause pain
- lead to a loss of function
Laser creates a concentrated beam of light that penetrates through the layers of skin to the injured tissue where it is absorbed by the cells.
Laser restores cellular functions which:
- Accelerate tissue healing
- Reduce inflammation
- Reduce pain
